1. Introduction to Hastelloy G-30 Materials
Hastelloy G-30 is a nickel-based alloy containing nickel, chromium, cobalt, tungsten and other elements with nickel content around 37%. As a high-chromium nickel alloy, it offers far better corrosion resistance than most nickel and iron-based alloys in commercial phosphoric acid and mixed highly oxidizing acid media including nitric acid-hydrochloric acid, nitric acid-hydrofluoric acid and sulfuric acid. G-30 inhibits grain boundary precipitation in weld heat-affected zones, making welded components suitable for all kinds of chemical processing facilities.

4. Hastelloy G-30 material characteristics
It has superior corrosion resistance than most nickel-based and iron-based alloys when exposed to commercial phosphoric acid and mixed oxidizing acid environments such as nitric acid/hydrochloric acid, nitric acid/hydrofluoric acid and sulfuric acid.
G-30 alloy avoids grain boundary precipitation inside weld heat-affected zones, so its welded products are widely applicable to various chemical processing projects.
