1. Introduction to 5A02 Materials
5A02 is an Al-Mg-based anti-rust aluminum alloy and cannot be strengthened by heat treatment. The alloy has a low magnesium content, high plasticity, good forming, and low strength, but higher strength than 3A21 alloy. Cold deformation can increase its strength while reducing plasticity. The alloy has good corrosion resistance and is suitable for use in marine environments, and the alloy has good welding properties.

4. 5A02 application fields
5A02 alloy is suitable for welding structures and containers with high process plasticity requirements and corrosion resistance, such as conduits, oil tanks, GIS high-pressure switch shells, flanges, rivets or welding rods, etc., and wires are used to make rivets.
