What environmental limitations affect the service life of aviation aluminum alloy?

Aviation aluminum alloy cannot sustain long-term service above 150°C; continuous high temperature will cause aging phase coarsening and permanent strength attenuation. In marine coastal flight environments, salt fog easily erodes uncoated surfaces and induces stress corrosion cracking. It also lacks wear resistance, so friction contact positions must install wear-resistant lining sleeves. These weaknesses determine that aviation aluminum alloy cannot replace high-temperature superalloys for aero-engine hot-end components and needs complete anti-corrosion coating protection for long-distance coastal flights.
