1. Introduction to GH3039 Materials
GH3039 is a single-phase austenitic solid-solution strengthened alloy. It features moderate high-temperature strength and excellent thermal fatigue resistance below 800℃, outstanding oxidation resistance below 1000℃ and stable microstructure during long-term service. It also possesses favorable cold formability and weldability. It is applied to aero-engine combustion chamber and afterburner components operating continuously below 850℃. Available product forms: sheets, bars, wires, tubes and forgings.

3. GH3039 physical properties
Density: 8.3g/cm³
Electrical property: room temperature resistivity ρ=1.18×10-6 Ω·m
Magnetic property: Non-magnetic alloy
4. GH3039 material characteristics
The alloy has excellent hot workability and deformation performance. Forging heating temperature: 1170℃, minimum finish forging temperature: 900℃.
The average grain size is closely correlated with forging deformation ratio and finish forging temperature.
It can be welded via TIG welding, spot welding and seam welding with superior weldability and low cracking tendency.
Surface oxide scale after heat treatment can be removed by shot blasting or pickling.
5. GH3039 application fields
Components made of GH3039 for aero-engine combustion chambers and afterburners have passed long-term production and service verification with stable reliable performance.
