2. Application fields of tantalum wire
Capacitor-grade tantalum wire is mainly used to make the anode leads of tantalum electrolytic capacitors. The smallest tantalum wire is Φ0.10mm. It can also be made into tantalum yarn or tantalum mesh. Tantalum wire is the key material for making tantalum capacitors. Tantalum capacitors are the best capacitors. About 65% of tantalum in the world are used in this field.
High-oxidation brittle tantalum wire can also be used to make capacitors, which can operate under high 772 temperatures (100°C) and ultra-high flash fire voltage (350V) in potassium dichromate and sulfuric acid empowerment liquids.
It is used to compensate for muscle tissue, suture nerves and tendons, make vascular stents, etc. to make vacuum high-temperature furnace heating parts.
Used as a vacuum electron cathode emission source, ion sputtering and spraying materials, etc.
3. Tantalum wire tolerance range
diameter | tolerance |
0.2~0.5 | < 0.007 |
0.5~0.7 | < 0.010 |
0.7~1.5 | < 0.015 |
1.5~2.0 | < 0.020 |
2.0~3.0 | < 0.030 |
3.0~4.0 | < 0.040 |
3. Mechanical properties of tantalum wire
state | Tensile strength (Mp) | Elongation rate % |
Annealed State Mild(M) | 300~750 | 10~30 |
Semi-hard (Y2) | 750~1250 | 1~6 |
Hard (Y) | >1250 | 1~5 |
TaNb3, TaNb20, mechanical properties are measured according to the factory. |
Antioxidant brittleness of tantalum wire:
Brand number | Diameter (mm) | Number of antioxidant brittle bending times (≥) |
Ta1 | 0.10~0.40 | 3 |
>0.40 | 4 | |
TA2 | 0.10~0.40 | 4 |
>0.40 | 6 |
Tantalum wire linearity (radian and curling height):
1. The arc of the sample with a diameter greater than or equal to 800mm.
2. The lifting height is less than 20mm
