Description

1. Introduction to GH4169 Materials

GH4169 corresponds to the grades Inconel718 (USA) and NC19FeNb (France). GH4169 is a precipitation-strength nickel-based deformation high-temperature alloy. It has good comprehensive performance in the temperature range of -253~650℃ for a long time. The short-term use temperature can reach 800℃. The yield strength below 650℃ ranks first in the deformation high-temperature alloy. It has good fatigue resistance, radiation resistance, oxidation resistance, corrosion resistance, as well as good processing performance, welding performance and long-term structural stability. It can manufacture various complex shapes and has been widely used in aerospace, nuclear energy, petroleum industry and extrusion molds. The main products include hot rolling and forged rods, cold-pulled rods, hot rolled plates, cold rolled plates, steel strips, wire materials, seamless pipes, welded pipes, forgings, etc.

4. GH4169 smelting process

GH4169 adopts vacuum induction furnace + electroslag re-dissolution, or vacuum induction furnace + vacuum self-consolution re-melting, or vacuum induction furnace + electroslag re-dissolution + vacuum self-consolution re-melting, or vacuum induction furnace + vacuum self-consolution re-melting + electroslag re-dissolution smelting processes.

V. GH4169 material characteristics

It has high tensile strength, fatigue strength, creep strength and fracture strength at 700°C. It has high oxidation resistance at 1000°C.
It has stable chemical properties and good welding properties at low temperatures. Whether in high or low temperature environments, GH4169 alloy has excellent resistance to stress corrosion cracking and pitting. GH4169 alloy has excellent oxidation resistance at high temperatures.
The metallographic structure of GH4169 is an austenite structure. The γ phase generated after precipitation and hardening gives it excellent mechanical properties. The δ phase generated at the grain boundary during the heat treatment makes it very plastic.
