Description

1. Introduction to 4J36 Materials

4J36 is a special low-expanded iron-nickel alloy with ultra-low expansion coefficient. Among them, the control of carbon and manganese components is very important. Cold deformation can reduce the thermal expansion coefficient, and heat treatment within a specific temperature range can stabilize the thermal expansion coefficient. 4J36 is corrosion-resistant in dry air at room temperature. In other harsh environments, such as humid air, corrosion (rust) may occur.

4J36 Expanded Alloy Overview The Curie point of 4J36 Expanded Alloy is about 230℃. When it is below this temperature, the alloy is ferromagnetic and has a very low expansion coefficient. When it is above this temperature, the alloy is nonmagnetic and the expansion coefficient increases. This alloy is mainly used to make components with approximately constant dimensions within the range of temperature variation, and is widely used in the radio industry, precision instruments, instrumentation and other industries. 4J36 This alloy is a typical low-expansion alloy. It has been used for a long time in aviation factories and has stable performance; during use, the heat treatment process and processing process should be strictly controlled to ensure the stability of the material.
