- Material properties
17-7PH is a hardened stainless steel with high strength and hardness, fatigue resistance, good corrosion resistance and die forging. After solid solution treatment, it is an unstable austenite structure with good plastic toughness and processability. After adjustment, the austenite precipitation of carbide phenol composition changes. After martensite transformation treatment, most of the structures are transformed into low-carbon tempered martensite with good toughness. This state is the use state of steel and has good medium-temperature mechanical properties. Corrosion resistance is better than general martensitic stainless steel.
- Application areas
Used in aerospace, chemical, petrochemical, papermaking and metal processing industries.
