1. Introduction to GH4141/141 Materials

GH4141 is a precipitated hardened nickel-based deformation high-temperature alloy with high tensile and long-lasting creep strength and good oxidation resistance in the range of 650 to 950°C. Due to the high content of aluminum, titanium and molybdenum in the alloy, it is difficult to open the ingot, but the deformed material has good plasticity. It can be cold-formed in annealed state or welded, and strain-aging cracks are easily generated when the welding parts are heat treated. The varieties of alloys include thin plates, belts, wires, discs, rings, forgings, bars, and precision castings.

Note: Mn and Si in the table are the contents of rods, forgings, rings and wires, and the sheets, strips and pipes are: Mn≤0.35%, Si≤0.35%.

III. GH4141 application field

Due to the high content of aluminum, titanium and molybdenum in the alloy, it is difficult to open the ingot, but the deformed material has good plasticity. It can be cold-formed in annealed state or welded, and strain-aging cracks are easily generated when the welding parts are heat treated. The varieties of alloys include thin plates, belts, wires, discs, rings, forgings, bars, and precision castings, etc., which are suitable for the manufacture of high-temperature parts of aviation and aerospace engines that require high strength below 870℃ and require antioxidant below 980℃.
