Description
1. Introduction to Inconel 600 Materials
Inconel 600 alloy is a nickel-chromium-based nickel-based corrosion-resistant heat-resistant alloy developed in the early stage, also known as nickel-chromium-ferro-based solid solution reinforced nickel-based alloy. It has high temperature corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance, and has excellent hot and cold processing and welding properties. It has satisfactory thermal strength and high plasticity below 700℃.

4. Inconel 600 material characteristics
- It has excellent resistance to corrosion of reducing, oxidizing and nitriding media
- It has good stress corrosion cracking resistance at room temperature and high temperature
- It has excellent resistance to corrosion of dry chlorine and hydrogen chloride gases
- It has good mechanical properties at sub-zero, room temperature and high temperature z
- Because of the good creep resistance and fracture strength control of carbon content and grain size, it is recommended to use it in a working environment above 700℃.
5. Inconel 600 application fields
- Thermocouple sleeve in an erosion atmosphere
- Vinyl chloride monomer production: resistant to chlorine, hydrogen chloride, oxidation and carbonization corrosion
- Uranium oxidation conversion to hexafluoride: anti-hydrogen fluoride corrosion
- Fields of production and use of corrosive alkali metals, especially in the environment where sulfides are used
- titanium dioxide by chlorine gas
- Production of organic or inorganic chlorides and fluorides: Resistant to chlorine and fluorine corrosion
- nuclear reactor
- Curved bottles and components in heat treatment furnaces, especially in carbonization and nitriding atmospheres
- It is recommended to use alloy 600H in catalytic regenerators in petrochemical production to obtain a longer service life in applications above 700°C.
