1. Introduction to N08367 Materials
N08367 is a typical 6-molybdenum (high molybdenum content 6.3%) super austenitic stainless steel. Its ability to resist chloride pitting, crevice corrosion and stress corrosion is better than that of series 3 stainless steel and has a lower cost than corrosion-resistant nickel-based alloys. It exhibits good corrosion resistance in various severe corrosion environments and is suitable for high chloride aqueous solutions and chloride corrosion environments. Its comprehensive corrosion resistance has made a great leap compared to 316L. At the same time, its corrosion resistance is close to that of other corrosion-resistant nickel-based alloys such as C-276, but its cost is more advantageous. Used in a variety of high chloride environments: bleaching agents (nano hypochlorite, chlorine dioxide), halogen and chemicals with high salt or seawater content.

N08367 Heat treatment
This alloy is an austenitic series stainless steel, and the heat treatment can be the same as that of standard austenitic stainless steel. The commonly used heat treatment conditions are as follows.
Solid solution treatment 1125~1175℃ water cooling
N08367 Pickling
Use a mixture of nitric acid and hydrofluoric acid for pickling. Due to its higher corrosion resistance than SUS 304, the scale will be slightly more difficult to remove. Therefore, it is more effective to perform a short period of alkali impregnation before pickling, or if possible shot peening.
