HastelloyX Organizational Structure
The alloy is in a solid solution state with an austenite matrix, and there are also a small amount of TiN and M6C type carbides. After long-term aging of 700-900°C, the main precipitated phases are M12C and M3B2, and are also accompanied by trace μ phases and L phases. After 700°C and 200 hours aging, a small amount of σ phase appears, but after 800°C aging, the σ phase does not exist, and a trace amount of M23C6 is precipitated, and sometimes a trace of L phase appears. Therefore, the alloy exhibits a certain degree of aging hardening after long-term aging, which reduces plasticity and reduces high temperature strength.
The technical standards for cold-rolled thin sheets stipulate that the grain size of cold-rolled thin sheets in supply state should be within the range of level 4 to 8.

6. Material characteristics
HastelloyX forming performance: Alloy has good cold and hot processing forming performance. The forging heating temperature is 1170℃±10℃, and the final forging temperature is not lower than 950℃; the slab hot rolling heating temperature is 1150℃±10℃, and the final rolling temperature is not lower than 850℃; the annular parts hot rolling heating temperature is 1170℃±10℃.
HastelloyX Welding Performance This alloy has good welding process performance and can be welded by argon arc welding, seam welding and spot welding. It is recommended to use HHastelloyX or HGH3113 welding wire when welding argon arc

6.
