1. Introduction to 1.4529

    1.4529 has very high resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion in halide media and hydrogen-sulfur-containing environments, and can effectively resist chloride ion stress corrosion. It also has good corrosion resistance in oxidative and reducing media, good stability, and slightly better mechanical properties than 904L. It can be used for pressure vessel manufacturing from -196 to 400℃.

Mechanical properties: Tensile strength: σb≥650Mpa; Elongation: δ≥35%

III. 1.4529 Material Description

      1.4529 (UNS N08926) has very high resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion in halide media and hydrogen-sulfur acidic environments, and can effectively resist chloride ion stress corrosion. It also has good corrosion resistance in oxidative and reducing media, good stability, and slightly better mechanical properties than 904L. It can be used for pressure vessel manufacturing from -196 to 400℃.

Typical working conditions: 60% sulfuric acid, below 80℃, annual corrosion rate <0.1mm
